Theoretical ATPL training
The theoretical ATPL training (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is a key step towards becoming an airline pilot. It is designed to provide student pilots with the theoretical knowledge needed to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot Licence, which is required to hold the position of captain on commercial aircraft. The theoretical ATPL is an intensive programme that can be taken in a modular or integrated way.

Training objectives
The objectives of the theoretical ATPL training are to provide future airline pilots with a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge to operate commercial aircraft safely, and to prepare them for the challenges of airline operations. The main objectives of this training are as follows:
- Master advanced aeronautical knowledge The aim of the course is to develop an in-depth understanding of the subjects essential to commercial aviation, including navigation, aircraft performance, meteorology, human factors and aviation regulations. This enables students to make informed decisions and anticipate complex in-flight situations.
- Preparing students for overhead line operations The modular theoretical ATPL is designed to familiarise students with airline procedures, crew resource management (CRM) and safety practices. The knowledge acquired will enable them to prepare for a multi-crew flight environment, where cooperation and coordination are essential.
- Ensuring successful completion of aviation authority examinations One of the primary objectives is to prepare students to pass the 14 theory exams required by the civil aviation authorities (DGAC, EASA, etc.). The programme covers all the subjects regulated by these bodies, ensuring that students have the theoretical skills to obtain the ATPL licence.
- Developing the ability to analyse and manage flights Modular training allows students to progress at their own pace, giving them time to fully integrate and apply their knowledge. By accumulating flight experience between modules, students can develop better analytical skills and a methodical approach to flight management, essential for flying large airliners.

Pass the FCL 055!
Le FCL 055 is an aviation language qualification required for pilots and air traffic controllers to ensure that they have a sufficient command of English to communicate safely in an international environment. This qualification assesses language skills in six areas: pronunciation, grammatical structure, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and interaction. The minimum level required is generally level 4 according to the criteria of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
