Multi-engine qualification (ME)
The ME (Multi-Engine) training, or Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) qualification, is an additional certification for pilots wishing to fly multi-engine aircraft. This training is required for pilots who hold a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and who wish to operate multi-engined aircraft, whether for private or commercial flights.

Training objectives
Learn to fly multi-engine aircraft in a safe environment, essential for professional pilots. Included in the RNCP code 30758 for the Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
Target audience
Pilots holding a PPL or CPL licence wishing to broaden their skills.
Course duration
- 8 hours practical flying (multi-engine aircraft + simulator).
- 7 hours of theory classes

Prerequisites
To start an MEP training course, candidates must :
- Hold a valid Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL),
- A minimum of 70 flying hours as an aircraft captain.
